antique new unused window shutters 26W X 64H (NINE PAIRS) - $399 - (Cedar Falls, IA)
Here is a lot of 9 (NINE) pairs of antique inside window shutters (finished size 26in WIDE X 64in HIGH) found in the attic of a house built in 1905 and never installed. Some call them "PLANTATION SHUTTERS". These are still crated up and have never been trimmed (an need to be). There is a right and left in each pair and they are RABBETTED to latch together and keep the light and cold out. There were originally 5 pairs to each bundle but the one has been opened. They are dirty, from dust and storage in an unheated attic for 100 years. They are soft wood, pine, probably and could be cleaned and bleached and stained or just painted. This would be a big project for someone but an incredible find if you are able to use them. My guess is that they weigh about 160 lb total. Shipping will be possible, but we will have to work it out. So, I'm saying no shipping.
