RARE Antique Metal Fable Picture Button with Steel Shape… THE COUNTRY MOUSE AND THE CITY MOUSE Such a fabulous hard-to-find button! The steel shape looks like a wedge of cheese but is described in BBB as a "Mouse Trap". Look it up in the 'Big Book of Buttons', plate 152, #8 . I once had the large version of this button that quickly sold for $1000. These do not come along often at all. Just less than 3/4", small but wonderful :) 1800's to very early 1900's.
