Haiti "Glacière Port Au Prince" token - MUSEUM RARITY ! - $2,695 - (Lac-Beauport, QC)

Haiti excessively rare token: White metal 27mm. "Glacière Port Au Prince"/"A.T. & B.R.". Lustrous EF-AU with moderate encrustation (see photos). For Barnabé Rivière ice factory in Port-au-Prince, circa 1863-1890. This piece ex-Byrne (lot 770) and Edward Roehrs collections. As far we can ascertain, this is the only piece to have appeared on the market these past 50+ years. Very likely, only about 3 or 4 pieces are known to exist...if that many ! Rare opportunity for the Haitian numismatist enthusiast ! When will you see another one for sale ?
