Curly Douglas Fir, Over 230 Board Feet, 50 Years Old, Very Rare and Extremely Curly! This special wood belongs to my father who worked at the Cottage Grove, Oregon Weyerhauser back in the 1960's. In the years he worked there he was able to pick through over 6 million board feet of lumber and came out with some very pretty boards of Curly Douglas Fir and Crows Foot Hemlock. This auction is for the Curly Douglas Fir. These boards have been dry kiln, and ranged from 3 feet to 16 feet long. The exact dimensions are listed below. This wood has been stored in an enclosed, dry barn for over 50 years. It's in excellent condition! He has asked me to sell it for him.
