Pair of Antique Chinese Portrait Painting on Silk Fabric, Early 20th c - $630 - (Arlington, TN)

Approximate Size:Overall size: 36" x 24" , 35.5" x 21"Painting size: 26" x 19" , 26" x 16" Condition:Some parts have been repaired and there are some moisture stains.The paintings were painted on the paper, and each paper was pasted on a larger board covered in silk fabric. When the painting was framed, a poster board was put on the back side of the larger board. After many years of being framed, some of the words on the poster became imprinted on the back of the silk covered board. However, no ink was transferred to the silk covered board, and this doesn't have any effect on the original paintings.(Please note that there are some reflections of light in the pictures.) (The frames are not included in the sale. The paintings will be unframed and shipped to the buyer.) (ref # 648)
