Our family got together and purchased this Stairlift but then our loved one has decided to move to a location that is all one floor. We could not return the Stairlift and we had paid much more than the listed price. The boxes have not been opened and are all intact. We researched and felt that this was a good choice especially since it has the self-charging DC power packs so it will function even during a power outage. This is the new series 130 and has the easy to use controls in both armrests. Please ask any questions you may have but since we have not opened or used the Stairlift our responses would be based on the literature. There are a total of 4 boxes. Two long boxes that contain the rails and two heavy square/rectangular boxes. They fit easily in a standard size pick-up truck. Thank you for looking!
