Beautiful Antique Pair of Tall Baccarat Crystal Hurricane Lamps with Pendants - $900 - (Dover, OH)

A beautiful pair of antique tall crystal hurricane lamps by Baccarat. Finely detailed with etching on the shades, crisp presentation and lovely hanging prismatic crystal pendants. Missing one complete prism set on each lamp. All the others have that very smooth and polished shine in those key reflective/refractive planes, to create a nice prismatic rainbow effect. Each lamp is made up of four parts: The base, the crown with pendants, a secure threaded higher crown that secures the pendant crown to the base, and the shades which each seat into the silver holders provided, which also hold candles. All components mount securely and show no flaws or problems. No Baccarat marks are present on both the bases and the lamp shades which is consistent for an antique Baccarat. These lamps are just beautiful. Each lamp stands approx. 23.5" tall. The shades measure 11-1/8" tall. I found three prisms with a chip near the point. There are small edge nicks on the top sharp edge of the points of the prisms consistent with age. I am being critical and only seen them with a magnifying glass. One of the shades has a smudge mark on it. View the last picture to see it. The prisms will be removed and wrapped separately for shipping. Feel free to ask any questions.
