This is a RAD IP MUX 1E, a 4 port analog 4 wire full duplex with E&M signalling mux. The unit has an Ethernet Main interface The unit transports full duplex analog audio over an ethernet network. The units were used to transport VHF satellite receiver audio from the remote site back to the central SNV 12 voter. The units were removed from a working system when the customer needed more than 4 audio paths. With different modules, the units will support FXO or FXS devices, or a T1/E1 main interface. While the analog outputs support traditional E&M signalling, we can provide a low cost method to outboard a module to convert the E&M signalling to an output compatible with radio COR/PTT signalling levels.
