Native American Indian Beaded Moccasins, c.1880 by a Teton/Lakota Sioux. A nomadic tribe, the Sioux territory included parts of present-day North and South Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Montana, Illinois and south-central Canada. Created from native tanned hide with red and blue glass trade beads in intricate designs including stylized tepees on a classic white and green Sioux background. They measure 10 - 1/8 inches by 4 inches. Originally acquired from a renowned gallery collection. This item will include a letter of authenticity from Sherwood Spirits Of America.
