Hello my name is John. I restore, recondition vintage microphones for display, prop and functional use. I am offering this 1950's era Amperite PGH microphone with a vintage Atlas desk stand for display or prop use as the element is non working. You will find a few of these around from time to time as well as some of the old Amperite ribbon microphones they produced. The cosmetic condition on this one is average to above average with pitting and scratches consistent with age and use. These are solid microphones and carry some weight. The screen is clean and dent free and all threading is clear on the microphone and stand. The adjustment joint for setting the desired angle is nice and tight. The stand is 6 inches round and the full height with the microphone mounted is 9 inches. An old classic produced in New York City.
