In 1989 the makers of the Hesston National Finals Rodeo series realized that they had been ignoring a great part of the rodeo system, the women of rodeo. So in addition to the standard buckle they also released a buckle honoring the women barrel racers. Of course they did not release that many barrel racers so this one has become one of the top five rarest buckles in the series. This buckle is still in the wrapper.
