Original Folk Art Oil Painting, Mountain Scene, Signed circa 1935 - $60 - (Denison, TX)

For sale is a Vintage Original Folk Art Oil Painting, Mountain Scene dated 1935. The scene is of a small settlement with mountains in the background. It reminds me of areas of New Mexico. The painting is signed Madge (Margaret) D. whom I could not find on line. On the back of the painting on the frame is written in pencil, "Thomas, Okla." My guess is this is where the artist lived and not the scenery. The painting measures 18 inches by 14 inches and is oil on canvas. There is wear and scratching to the painting especially along the edges. There are also a few small holes in the canvas.
