Early Iain MacCormick silver plaid brooch kilt pin Alexander Ritchie design Iona Fine early Iain MacCormick silver plaid brooch with the early recessed stamps of IMC and IONA, as well as 'Silver' and the early C-A stamp for 'Celtic Arts', which appears to have been MacCormick's own mark (not the CAI 'Celtic Art Industries' stamp which is much more frequently seen). This is an Alexander Ritchie design from the 1920s, continued into the mid-late 1940s by Ritchie's renowned Iona apprentice, Iain MacCormick. Pin is ~1-7/8" diameter 16 grams
