RARE ANTIQUE 1901 General Electric GE "Pancake" Electric 12" Fan - $649 - (Shingletown, CA)
The G.E. "Pancake" fans were produced from 1894-1908 and were so named by collectors because of the relatively thin but large diameter motor. The 1st Patent date on this barn find is March 19, 1889 and the last is June 25, 1901. Everything except the wood base seems to be there and the blade spins freely as does the swivel head and on/off switch. It's ready for restoration! The brass cage has some bends and end breaks and one of the brass blades has a couple of dents, so please view all the photos. Message with any questions. Thanks for Looking!
