Beautiful Pair of Antique, Neo-classical Style, heavy brass Kerosene Lamps converted to electricity. Made in France approximately 1880. Excellent condition, wear and tear consistent with age. Recently reworked and rewired. Set on black marble bases and fitted with bee's-wax sleeves. Re-wired with black lamp wire, in-line switch and one-way sockets. Plaque at bottom reads:"Lampea Moderateur Par Brevet D'InventionEtDe Perfectionnement"Height: 24.5" from bottom of base to top of socket, Diameter of base: 6."Shades are not included, but available separately.
