Antique Civil War Cast Iron Cauldron and Ladles - $2,200 - (Birmingham, MI)

This is truly a Historical Treasure. Amazing and Rare large, cast iron, Civil War cauldron and ladle set. There are no cracks, flaws or defections and fully functional. Originally used to feed several regiments of hungry soldiers. I was planing to re-service it for a landscaping fountain/ pond or fire pit project, but priorities changed. It's such a unique artifact a wonderful addition for a primitive collector, or landscape designer as a dynamic container or functioning landscape focal point. We are about to start a home renovation in the next few weeks so I am letting go some of my prize possessions. I have researched similar cauldrons and the few I found were some what smaller and did not come complete with ladles. As far as price, they sold at auction between $2900 and $3200. Retail Landscaping Companies listing smaller cauldrons with out ladles from $2200-$3900. I am willing to consider any reasonable offers.
