18' diecast subway or commuter train all original - $70 - (Pomeroy, IA)
This offer is for an original diecast commuter train in excellent vintage condition. It appears to be from a Stafford line of diecast toys. The train is on wheels (8) Because it is on wheels, it is perfect for a youngster to play with on the carpet because it has no tracks. As a collector, you sometimes find the kids in you life want to 'play' with your toys. The logo impressed on the side reads: "Staffrord Diesel" The train is all original, and with no repairs that I can detect. There is one very shallow dent in the roof of the train, so shallow that there is no paint loss. This gem was purchased from an Iowa toy collector's estate auction. I am also listing several cast iron toys that I purchased at that same auction. This terrific diecast communer train measures approx 18" long and 3" wide. It stands 3 1/2" tall.
