DAMAGED!! Collectible Steelbook Case Only! Limited production Blu-ray-sized Target exclusive officially licensed 2-disc steelbook for the original US Blu-ray combo release of The Secret Life of Pets. Acceptable condition: metal official "Steelbook" case - case functions perfectly, but suffers from shipping damage, due to Target's utter lack of concern with packaging their online sales protectively. There are a number of scratches on the front and back, as well as several dents on the front, some of which I was unable to capture very well with my camera, so I'll try to describe them below. The case closes perfectly and the disc hubs are undamaged so it'll hold discs well too. Very rare steelbook case. It's been speculated that Target may have actually pulled this edition from circulation because Steelbook failed to print the movie's title anywhere on the case, as Target released another store exclusive for the movie too and about anyone who didn't preorder it missed out as most stores didn't have any in stock on release. I called Target myself when it arrived the day of release and was told they couldn't replace it online or in stores. Damage described: There's a small dent, as if made by something pointy, at the base of the striped cats tail near the bottom. There's a crescent shaped bulge-like crease near the skyline about 1/2 inch in from the left edge of the middle (largest) cloud, affecting roughly an inch of the face. The worst is a large dent that appears to almost form the shape of a sideways H near the right edge on the front of the case, just above the skyline. This too affects roughly 1 inch of the face, but is significantly more noticeable.
