Gibson TG-0 tenor guitar 1960 - $650 - (Florence, MA)
1960 Gibson TG-0 A very nice, solid working tenor with a larger 00-size body (14.75" lower bout) for a bigger sound. All mahogany. Was just fixed up professionally with a back seam and bridge reglue, and replacement pins, along with a fresh setup - ready to play. Cosmetically there is only minor wear for its age. There are two hairline cracks on the back that can be felt but not seen - they were repaired as part of the seam reglue. Neck is straight and action is good (1/8" at 12th fret, bass side), with plenty of saddle to lower it to your preference if needed. Nice punchy, old-timey sound. Currently tuned GDAE but of course all tenor tunings are possible. ~23" scale, 1 3/16" nut width. Includes a hardshell case (Mexican-made) of unknown vintage.
