No hard agitation please. Either line dry or dry by machine on the low cycle with prompt removal after ten minutes, whichever is your preference. I have applied a light coat of Scotch-Gard fabric protector to help prevent stains as the fabric is cotton. Pressing with a medium iron is perfectly fine. The runner measures 43 inches long from point to point, and 20 inches wide. The edges are encased in a double-fold cotton binding that is applied by machine and hand stitched closed.
