PRICE REDUCED!! This vintage Budweiser hang-up promotional sign is in excellent vintage condition. The horses and beer wagon are encased in plexi-glass. The upper and lower wood-like portions are of a molded plastic material. There is a hole in the bottom that was possibly for some kind of light bulb?? There is a narrow strip of white along both sides of the horses/wagon that may have been for light to show through?? The owner didn’t know about that and was unaware of any lighting capability. Or ... perhaps the hole was just for a post to stand it on ??? This sign is made to hang by its chain so that it can be seen and enjoyed from both sides. (see photos from both sides) There are some minor scuffs or spots on the metallic (plastic) trim but no breaks or cracks in the body. The overall size is 34” x 20” x 5” ( NOT including the chain for hanging). There is a very small strip label on the top of each side that reads, Amheuser-Busch, Inc. Brewers of Budweiser Beer, St. Louis, Mo. U.S.A. Item No. 023-03 – ’79. Because of the size and difficulty of safe packing, the owner is not comfortable with shipping this item. It is located near Houghton in the northwest area of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The seller, or the owner, may be able to arrange delivery depending on the buyer’s location.
