Vintage 14k Yellow Gold Intaglio Carnelian Seed Pearl Brooch - $325 - (Lawrenceburg, IN)
Hello there, I have here a very old 14k yellow gold intaglio carnelian seed pearl Brooch. This brooch is either late 1890s to 1935. The brooch has little seed pearls all around it looks like it has rose gold flowers on each side as you can see in the pictures. The carnelian has a roman soldier carved in it and when you hold it up to the light it kinda glows (intaglio). The back of the brooch is marked 2 times 14k as you can see in the pictures. The size of this brooch is 1 3/16" x 1 1/16" or 30mm x 19mm. This brooch has a nice weight of 10.27grams. This would make an excellent gift for someone who collects the old and beautiful antique jewelry of this period, what a gift it would be and in great shape!
