UP FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION Exquisitely detailed carved cameos --BY PETTER BATES LTD--ENGLAND- mounted in 3 inch (75mm) round brass frames under convex or bubble glass. Traditionally Cameos were created from layered stone or shell, the upper layer being carved in relief, the lower serving as a contrasting background. Has the original gold label on the back. The carvings are multi-dimensional and of nice quality. The frame is backed in gold velvet fabric. Made in England by Peter Bates Miniatures, the home of collectible miniature pictures since 1974. PETER BATES LTD. TITCHFIELD HANTS MADE IN ENGLAND. Condition:This rare find is in excellent condition. No cracks or scratches on glass, no dents in brass frame. There is only natural patina from aging. THESE Do NOT have original boxes. Velvet backing and gold sticker show no signs of damage or wear.
