Gorgeous Eventing Prospect - $2,500 - (Williamston, MI)
Diamond is a seven year old, 16hh, OTTB mare. Last raced 9 2015. She has had let down time, a good start on retraining three mos with a professional event rider and has done some hacking. She has cross country schooled and was marvelous. Once she got the idea, she was a total rock star, including the water. She is phenomenally athletic and honest as the day is long. She was to be an upper level eventer but has mild navicular in her left front sound w pads & veterinarian approved for three jumping so needs to stick to the lower levels for her long-term health. She s a gorgeous mover and would be fine in a dressage only home but would probably prefer some jumping or at least a lot of variety. She needs an experienced handler and rider. She s generally extra sweet and easy with good ground manners but has her firecracker moments usually under saddle . She is nice for the veterinarian and with trailering. Needs a little assistance with the farrier.
