ANTIQUE TURKEY RED HAND EMBROIDERED CHILD'S QUILT, DATED 1903, 114 YRS., 44 X 52 - $150 - (Cedar Bluffs, NE)

Very wonderful turkey red hand embroidered child's quilt, dated 1903, and in great condition. It is hand-quilted. There are some interesting boo-boos -- the square with the Declaration of Independence is backwards and can only be seen correctly in a mirror; almost all fruit squares are upside-down. I have a quilt similar to this that my dad made in 1927 in country school, so this one may have been that type of project too. It is clean, and I do not see any stains or damage.
