Antique American Stick Teddy Bear Mohair Stuffed Plush Mohair Jointed 17" - $400 - (Terre Haute, IN)

This 1930's American straw stuffed stick fully disc jointed and top stitched plush mohair bear measures 17" h. He has an enlarged head, cloth top stitched enlarged nose and ears which are stitched into the head seams. He has beautiful brown glass eyes but his left eye has a crack down the middle. He does retain most of his plush mohair with a little hair loss on the back of his leg and he also needs resewn on his left ear and shoulder and his pads have been replaced. He is tan/brown in color and I was not able to attribute him to any maker. He is from a smoke free home and would make a nice addition to a collection.
