Mauviel hammered copper tin rondeau pan pot w/lid 12.5" 4mm 10.6 Qt France NEW - $795 - (Oakmont, PA)

On offer here is an 12.5"/32cm hammered copper rondeau from Mauviel, and so marked. The pan is tin-lined, done by hand, not by plating. The handles are cast brass affixed with big copper rivets. The pan come with a lid which is tin-lined copper, also, with a cast brass handle affixed with big copper rivets. The pan alone weighs about 16 pounds and the total weight, with lid, is over 18 pounds. The pan is a little under 4mm thick. This rondeau has a capacity of 10.6 qts/10 L. It has never been cleaned with anything at all, so there's no abrasion at all to the highly polished surface. There's not a speck of verdigris on it, or any other kind of tarnish to which copper is susceptible. The pan is perfect, it sits flat, isin round, has no dents at all, not even the tiniest one, no scratches, no suspicious marks on the bright, shiny, reflective tin.
