Rare 8" Abbe's Patent Boxing Bell Brass - $200 - (Warrensburg, NY)

RARE size! I cannot find another example of an 8" Abbe's Patent Bell (brass) with an 8" cast iron base. Also it has a rare spring mechanism..Fully functional with a few dings as one would expect out of a bell this old! Patent date on back is July 1865
