Gaited Gelding - $1,200 - (Purcellville, VA)

Rio Grande Solid bay approx fifteen hands and approx 10 yrs old. Rio is the lumberjack of the TWH because he is a bit more lumbering than graceful. We call him a mans horse due to his John Wayne frame and teddy bear personality. Hes a attractive man but definitely moves more like a brawler. He has excellent ground manners is very personable and will follow you like a puppy. He is always 1st in line for grain or hay and does appear to be a bit higher on the pecking order. Rio will listen and is sure footed on the trail though he can be a bit stubborn under saddle. A confident rider can keep him in line without any problem. No rearbuckbite. He will hack out alone or in a group.
