Serial number 100,750 dates this vintage C melody sax to 1922, made in Elkhart, Indiana. It's a good example that's in fine condition, with satin silver plate finish to the body and bright silver plate to the keys. Gold wash inside the bell is light, but still visible. We sold this saxophone several years ago to a collector who apparently never played it. He's now selling his collection of vintage instruments and we're selling this one as a consignment. Pads and corks were new from our shop several years ago and are still in very good condition. Solid original case and the original Conn mouthpiece are included. It's a very good vintage C-melody sax that's ready to play and with a low starting price! Wichita Band Instrument Company is a small musical instrument emporium located in the center of the USA.
