Vintage 1973 Harmony electric guitar, playable and electronics work - $119 - (Gower, MO)

Here is a 1973 Harmony solid body guitar (date shown underneath the pickguard). Comes with a used Fender gig bag. The electronics work, but it never had a pickup selector switch (please see photos). The volume and tone are for both pickups, so I guess the maker intended a big sound with both pickups always on. It does work and the pots have been cleaned with DeOxit and work well. The truss rod seems to work and the guitar does have new strings. It plays OK but it's not going to make you sound like Eric Clapton. :) There are some nicks and scratches, particularly behind the tailpiece (shown in a detail photo), and the tailpiece has some rust. Looks like a kid took a screwdriver or something to the wood behind the tailpiece, for whatever reason. I do believe the guitar has all original parts, except for maybe the string nut. It doesn't fit perfectly but in this case, the guitar has a zero fret. The nut only spaces the strings, doesn't contribute to the action. FREE shipping in the 48 states.
