Very cool and Rare 1969 Gibson Melody Maker SG- 2 pickup - $1,575 - (Overland Park, KS)

For sale is a very nice late 1969 or very early 1970 Gibson 2 pickup SG Melody Maker. This is the last year of the Melody Maker, the late 1969/70 Melody Makers came with a full-size headstock. This pre- neck volute or “made in the USA” stamp. In late 1970 Gibson dropped the Melody Maker and began offing the SG 100, 200 and 250’s as replacements. This guitar plays and sounds awesome- the Gibson single coil pickups and original electronics sound great. The action is excellent the neck has a the late 60’s Gibson taper and feel. Everything appears to be original to this guitar no modifications at all. There are a few nick and scratches in the finish- see pictures- and vintage finish checking. Comes with vintage case- appears to original. This is a very cool and rare vintage Gibson at a great price. Please view all the pictures and contact me with any questions.
