Rare Vintage 1962 Silvertone 1423 Jupiter H-49 Stratotone Made by Harmony - $850 - (Akron, OH)

Here's a Rare Vintage 1962 Silvertone 1423 H-49 Jupiter Stratotone with DeArmond “Diamond Grill” Pickups. This was made by Harmony for Silvertone and has become one of the very desirable and collectable guitars that Harmony built. This is a great sounding and playing guitar. The switch, pickups, and tone & volume controls are working properly, including the built in blender which was a great addition in its day, that Harmony added to an already great guitar. The action is clean on every note from one end of the neck to the other, with no fret or string buzzing. The neck is straight and has just had a new fretboard with new frets professionally installed.There is some paint chipping around the jack plug, but is solid. There are also signs of wear, and the typical scratches, dings, and dents in the finish which is common for a guitar that is over 55 years old. I have tried to show as much in the photos as possible.
