Wood Cheese Box Round 15" Vintage Hand Painted By S. Reynolds - $40 - (Glenfield, NY)

This vintage cheese box has a delightful hand painted top with mushrooms and berries. It is signed by C. Reynolds. It is perfect for a country decorative theme or pantry storage. It is lined on the inside on both the lid and bottom with black background and an array of flowers. It also has felt on the outside bottom of the box. Thus, it is difficult to identify its origin. The inside of the box has a little cheesy smell but still could be used to store many things and always be delightful to look at. Taking the linings out might help.
