UNUSUAL ULTRA BASIC MEI LI WEARING EMBASSY DINNER GOWN TONNER - $109 - (Westport, WA)
This is the Tonner 2009 Ultra Basic Mei Li wearing the 2002 Mei Li Embassy Dinner gown. The doll is BW, with a bloom complexion, and long straight raven hair. She is rather unusual in that instead of the brown eyes and plain make-up of the 2010 ultra basic Mei Li, this one has almost turquoise eyes and very dramatic make-up. I have only seen one other like her listed before. I chose to put her in the Tonner Embassy Dinner gown because the turquoise in the gown highlights her eyes and vice-versa. The gown is a long sheath dress with long sleeves, wrapped vee neckline, and cut-out back. It is made in black brocade with turquoise and gold embroidery. There is a slit in the back of the skirt. I added sparkly gold shoes, gold and black earrings, and a black bead bracelet. This is a gorgeous doll in a gorgeous gown, and they are in minty excellent condition. They will ship in a replacement Tonner box. I ship dolls like this Priority Mail because it is nearly as cheap as the slower methods, and much faster and safer.
