Trip is a seasoned, beginner friendly, all around horse. He sheds out to a pretty golden color with white pasterns and sock; just an adder to his total package. He has a soft neck rein to easily accommodate all sizes, ages and levels of riders. He has a good verbal whoa, he is easy to back, nice for the uncomfortable rider. He stands quiet for mounting and when asked to whoa. He is also disciplined to operate off body position and leg pressure for more skilled riders. Trip has a natural well placed head set, turns around slow and correct, as well as performs laterals. Trip is comfortable loping circles, penning cattle or just trail riding. He has a light handle, good speed (if needed), quick easy immediate shut down, no jig-jogging. He has been used for pasture roping and gathering (has not been used for team roping). Trip is also versatile enough to work for a low level 4H or ranch pleasure class. He has been on overnight trailrides, mounted by my four year old daughter.
