This vintage Burroughs Corp. Protectograph Checkwriter T74-7 is a very unique item! It has been tested and still prints/embosses. Please see photograph for test I performed on a blank sheet of paper to view the printing and embossing. (Some parts of the ribbon are darker than others, both tests are visible in photo). Please also see photos to judge condition. Protectographs were introduced around the early 1900's and were somewhat of a security measure since they made it hard to alter checks.
