Vintage 40's white cotton denim gas station mechanics coat jacket uniform - $200 - (Motley, MN)

This is a large service mechanic. technician coat. The material is a white cotton denim with a herringbone twill weave. The collar, cuffs and waistband are blue. It has 3 pockets on the front, one by the upper left chest and two under the waist. In addition there are two hidden side opening pocket slits to reach into your inner garment. All buttons are intact, including at bottom rear slit seam. There are some small holes that I have identified in the photos. It is stained, but I didn't try and wash it. Very sturdy material. I am placing this in the vintage 40's, 50's at the latest. This is a large or extra large coat. There is no label.
