Whirlpool Duet Electric Dryer - Control Panel (Complete) PN: 8558743 . - $25 - (Emerald Isle, NC)

The dryer had an an occasional malfunction so I switched out the main control board. When I had the symptoms again the wife got impatient and wanted a new drier. I pulled this panel and discovered a kinked ribbon cable. Pretty sure it's the culprit because whenever the fault code popped I fiddled with the connections and it would work fine again. So if you want to repair yours , you can swap out the ribbon cable and you should be good to go.
