This gorgeous 5" beaded bag is a truly rare find and is in excellent condition. This bag/purse has a Blue Eagle label, which was only used 19-33-1935. . The bright white beaded motif is set against a larger size, silver beaded background...and every bead appears to be intact. The intricate design is gorgeous. . The lining of this purse is a peach/cream colored, with a vibrant label, is original to the bag. I believe this purse has never been used...a true gem of a bag for any passionate collector. The NRA Blue Eagle label dates from 1933-1935 only. It was a voluntary program covering many consumer goods and was initiated by FDR. It was declared unconstitutional in 1935. This is the famous ‘Blue Eagle’ Label, seen only 1933-35 in USA. This label can be very handy for dating 1930s garments, accessories and even patterns.Written by pastperfectvintage.com
