Some of the original paperwork and a copy of the original receipt of sale, dated 12/8/79 will be included. In checking with the Unofficial LS3/5A Support Site, based on the serial numbers, SO 6361A and SO 6361B, the numbers listed on the inside the speaker boxes, and the date of sale, the speakers were manufactured in the second half of 1978. The back speaker panels have some minor wear and nicks and the serial number stickers were clearly exposed to the sunlight over the years. I am not finding any other blemishes or issues with the speaker boxes (please inspect the photos closely). These appear to be the original Walnut veneer. The speaker boxes appear to be in beautiful overall condition. The grill cloths are both in excellent shape with no tears or visible issues. They are still tight. The speakers are in excellent working order. I play tested the speakers with 2 different amplifiers, a McIntosh MA6300 and a Rotel RA-1062, and the speakers were performing flawlessly. Overall, these speakers are in beautiful condition. They are also very rare and are considered to be some of the finest speakers ever made. These are the 15 ohms monitors.Shipping will include a signature confirmation.These speakers are being re-listed after a problem with the previous buyer.I will not accept payment via PayPal check.
