Vintage Western Electric 728b 4 Ohm Speaker & Original Brochure This is a Western Electric 728b that just saw the light of day today for the first time in more than 50 years. I listened to a Bon Iver album through this speaker today and it sounded great to my untrained ears. It does have some white paint overspray on the cone. Looks like someone touched up the white speaker grills that were covering this speaker. It affects the looks, but not sure about performance. If you are reading this you know the answer to that question.
