RARE VTG Napkin Lady Muffin Doll Celluloid Face 2 SKIRTS BENDABLE ARMS Tea Party - $59 - (San Jose, CA)

NOTE: Buy with confidence. I've been an eBay employee for 10 years and I have 100% positive Feedback. Very Rare Muffin or Cupcake or Napkin Doll Circa 1930s 1940s with removable skirt; second skirt underneath; bendable arms This is a 1940's muffin doll that I've had for about 38 years. I've never seen another one like her.She has a pretty celluloid face that is in perfect condition. She sits on a table and you can put muffins or cupcakes in individual sections of her skirt, to be served at a tea party, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. She could also be used to hold napkins or other goodies. And surprise! The fun part is that her muffin holder skirt is on hinges beneath the peplum area at the waist, removable for washing. She wears another skirt underneath!I bought her from a woman whose mother brought her over from Germany in the 1930s or 1940s. This 10 1/2" muffin doll has a pretty celluloid face with no paint loss or damage of any kind. Her skirt is also in 100% excellent condition and appears to be a high-quality cotton; her poof-sleeve blouse has delicate lace. All is in excellent condition except there is some degradation to her felt collar, which can be removed. Arms are felt-covered and bendable. She wears a straw hat with black ribbon trim under her chin, and black lace, all in excellent condition, with red pom poms. Her clothing is in new condition -- she was cherished and I don't think she was ever used before I got her many years ago.Thank you for your consideration.
