OCTAVA 8 DAY MILITARY WW1 MARK V SPECIFICATION POCKET WATCH - $450 - (Duncan, BC)

An oversize circa 1916 Octava 8 day military specification pocket watch. The 15 jewel 3 adjustment movement is fully running. The 24 hour military configuration dial is in good condition. The chrome case measures approximately 2 1/2" across. Other than the dial and the military markings the watch appears the same used for the British WWI Mark V. This is a rare, not often seen variant. It was very possibly purchased for military use for a foreign army other than British. See if you can find another with this case and this 24 hour military dial.
