RARE 1963 Franklin PROOF 69 & 1964 Kennedy PF69 NGC "End of an Era" 2 Coin Set! - $500 - (Pleasantville, IA)
The very rare PROOF 69 Franklin half dollar combined with the Proof 69 Kennedy half dollar. They are housed in the NGC " The End of an Era " slab. You can find several of these in PF67 and a few in PF68, but very scarce in PF69. Not sure of the census for this combination slab, but NGC only has around 300 total as the top population certified as PF69. PCGS has certified even less at around 50 with values trending at $500-550. Please check photos as I believe both coins have a light Cameo contrast with bright surfaces. I do not see any spotting, hazing or toning as they are nearly flawless coins as judged by the grade.The 1964 Kennedy is also a very beautiful coin without any problems noted and nearly a cameo.
