Bicycle Powered Generator and portable power pack. by Windstream Power.Includes bike stand, generator, portable power pack, connecting power cord and 17 page owners manual.Windstream no longer produces this unit, they are now focused on educational and demonstration products. It does include the same high quality-high rpm generator that they use and sell today. (see spec. sheet in photos)It appears they sold the bike unit to Convergence Tech Inc. (Pedal-A-Watt) However that unit includes a bargain generator set. The kit originally included a lead acid battery but it had gone dead while in storage so I recycled it. To test the Power Pack and Inverter I installed a new 12v. battery (not included) everything worked. You will need to purchase a standard lawn tractor battery. They fit in the case as shown or you can connect to a larger battery outside the case. Again the battery in the photos is not included. That type of battery can no longer be shipped by common carrier. I think it is fair to say, no one is now producing a unit of this quality.
