There was a version about a quarter of this size said to have been published ca 1950. This is the far rarer, much earlier and vastly larger version. Amazingly lively, interesting and colorful depiction of native Mexicans, their costumes, villages, history, flora, fauna, sports (deep sea fishing, bull fighting), dancing, padres, missions, farms, historical depictions, galleons and planes, oil wells, and much more. The upper right portays an array of Mexican folk types in traditional dress, who are standing beside the Mexican National Seal and the Aztec Codex. At the Mexican - Texas border is a well-dressed Patron of Ciudad Juarez offering a bottle of tequila to Uncle Sam surrounded by smokestacks in El Paso.
