Hopi pot is 10 inches tall and 8 inches wide in very nice used condition no chips, cracks or problems with the paint. Pete Sumatzkuku was born in 1957 and mostly self taught he does mostly water colors and acrylics rarely ever makes pottery so this pot is extremely rare I'm not sure if he is still making pottery today. Most potters do not put the human form on a pot because it is extremely difficult but he painted 21 rain and corn Kachinas around this pot incredible, amazing, beautiful workmanship. Each Kachina is about 3 1/4 inches tall and very precise and detailed a pot like no other. This pot was hand coiled. Pot will be insured when shipped.
