Marx SPOOKY KOOKY TREE - WORKING! Rare 1960s Battery Op MONSTER Toy - $950 - (Bethlehem, PA)

WORKING "SPOOKY KOOKY TREE" by MARX. Rare battery operated tin litho toy made in Japan from the 1960s. Light brown version with whistling, bump and go action; eyes, mouth & arms that move up and down; and leaves on top of head that move from side to side. He might be missing some leaves compared to others out there. Very good condition with slight wear. Note scuffs in mouth. The toy was recently repaired to make all functions work by Tin Toy Works in Allentown, PA with rebuilt switch and rebuilt bottom of battery case. (Notice glued sections of battery housing and compartment).
