Ohio State University Antique Bookends 1870 Very Heavy Over 5# Each One Rare HTF - $500 - (Mansfield, OH)

You are bidding on a very rare pair of Ohio state bookends it says Ohio State University Columbus, O. Letters, science, art, agriculture, knowledge, 1870. I'm not sure what kind of metal these are made out of. I thought at first it was cast-iron but it doesn't stick to a magnet so I'm thinking maybe bronze they're extremely heavy weighing in at over 5 pounds each the whole pair weighs over 10 and I half pounds. These are very old they're in good condition. Maybe some nicks and what not here and there from age.
